angdenis - (July 25, 2004) I am a color pencil artist who WAS using another brand which did not sharpen the pencils as sharp as this one. Which was causing me not to get the results my teacher was expecting because the lead was to thick. May art improved 100% because of the point that this sharpner gave me. even my kids noticed the differnce.

kikikiki - (October 04, 2003) The first period of time - all went well. But the fact that it went blunt within a short period of time and I could find no way of resharpening it ment that I must now buy a new one. My advice - Avoid any sharpener which offers no easy replacement for the cutter mechanism. This happened just through home use. In a school environment this would have occured much sooner.

JSiento - (January 28, 2005) This is one of the greatest markers I have ever owned. I work in the automobile repair business, and we often have to quickly label parts for storage. Normally brand Sharpie markers have had a tendancy to rub off after time, due to the greases and oils on the parts. This marker lasts, and lasts, and lasts. The one big problem, but I guess it is expected with a marker such as this: It's literally impossible to remove from your skin. I got a little bit on my thumb probably 7 months ago, and since then, it has barely faded. Still a great marker overall, just need to be careful around your skin.

brownsebby - (11/09/09) I am a high school math teacher and my students need pencils. This sharpener was out of commission withing 6 weeks. A couple of my engineering students could get it working for me off and on; so I got another 6-8 weeks out of it. I am sorry I wasted the school's $50 on this product.

Art4life - (13/03/09) I don't let students use it, I am an art teacher and it is the only pencil sharpener I have. It is a nightmare, to never have a sharp pencil in an art room. It is causing me stress. It is a horrible pencil sharpener.

sjameson469 - (23/01/09) This sharpener has the worst sound I have ever heard in an electric pencil shapener. It sounds like a dentist drill and makes your teeth hurt!
