I ordered a Sapphire X1650 Pro 256MB card online, Stuff came back the same day to say it was out of stock and would take several days to obtain. When I called to ask about alternatives, they offered me an upgrade to the 512MB model at no extra cost, and which was available immediately. It arrived soon after and is absolutely great. They were so helful, friendly, efficient and curteous. There is no doubt that they will be my first port of call re related products. |

(Edited September 24th by slidehamma) It's not often I feel strongly enough to make a point of complaining about bad service but be warned 'stuff-uk' are simply incompetent. I placed an order with them having found them to be well priced, however good job I checked my credit card statement as my card had been debited twice. I phoned to inform them of this & the refund was made. When asked for an estimated delivery date "A couple of days" I was told. A week and another phone call later, again "a couple of days" I was told. Another week and a another phone later, I was rudely fobbed off with a story about the part number being "very specific" hence the reason for the delay...it was only for a 25 pack of Sony CDRs! So I asked to cancel the order, promising myself that in future I would just pay the extra and get my CDRs from the high street. I had waited three weeks for nothing and my card had been debited. But not only that, 2 days later the wrong goods were delivered & my card had been charged again! WHAT A JOKE. Retailer Response (12/10/07): You ordered a pack of Sony CDR and CDRW. Both had low stock. Payment was taken and the order despatched that day. One product was damaged so it didn't ship. This caused us to retake the payment. We have since addressed this issue. On 0309 you told us we had taken payment twice, this was refunded immediately. Our notes say that you were aware that the product was on backorder and that you wished to wait rather than swap it. We have no record of you cancelling your order. We refunded the original money on 1709 due to the backorder. The order was shipped on 20/09 and a new payment taken. We are unaware that you have wrong product or financial loss. Please contact us and we will address the issue. Please accept our sincerest apologies for the mistakes we made with your order. To err is human. |

I am a computer engineer and my supplier for the last few years had started boosing their prices so i tried these for some memory, The price was the best i could find and the delivery took a couple of days, item was packaged fine and the communication was good.. Decent website and ordering system etc, however when I tried to return a product under the distance selling regs, they were completely unhelpful and refused to accept the item back for a refund even though my local trading standards agreed i was entitled and requested they deal with the matter on numerous occasions. It has been about 6 months since I let them know i wanted to return the item and still no refund. I will definitely not use this merchant again. Retailer Response (03/07/06): The customer first requested that we replace a faulty product and then immediately requested a refund under the DSR. Initially we refused as the goods had been used. Trading standards did get involved, they did not agree the customer could have a refund. We agreed to accept the goods back for inspection to determine if the customer had taken reasonable care and as the value of the goods was less than £10 we raised a returns number which was valid for 10 days. The customer did not return the goods within 30 days and the return was closed. The customer has not had a refund as he did not return the goods. |

The easy in dealing with Stuff-UK and pleasantness of the staff and site make refreshing change in today cut throat sociality. They also know what they are talking about and do have helpful suggestions. It makes sense to take the stress out of buying |

all completed online with immediate responses and offers of help if not all clear. bought digicam and anti virus software which arrived next day. I used them for this having bought several items last year to upgrade my PC and they were brilliant then so always makes sense to back a winner.The prices are very competitive too. |
