Strengths: Great Graphics… Fun and Entertaining… Addicting Game play…
Weaknesses: Relatively Easy… Same Premise as PS2 game…
Summary: If you are familiar the "Ratchet and Clank" series for PS2 then this game will seem very familiar to you. The graphics in my opinion are outstanding for the PSP unit. I believe this game may be a high water mark for the system. One of the aspects of this series that I like so much is the “fun factor.” The game will provide hours of entertainment and has a real addicting quality to it. I was playing the game the other night and before I knew it 3 hours had gone by. I couldn't believe it.

If there are any negatives I would say the game is relatively easy. This isn't going to stump you for hours trying to get by a certain enemy. The other thing you might notice is that although this is a new game with new boards they look as if they could have been lifted off of any of the prequels. But I guess there is nothing they can do about that short of changing the game play of the game and that would change the likeability factor.

Overall I would highly recommend this game for anybody who likes a really fun game!!

Strengths: Creative weapons, addictive game play, controls fit very well, WONDERFUL graphics!
Weaknesses: Camera can be a little wonky at times, sound can mess up every once in a while, and the story isn't as deep as one might hope.
Summary: I bought this game before a family trip over President's Day weekend and finished it. I absolutely loved every minute of it. Ratchet transfers perfectly from PS2 to PSP, and the online multiplayer is addicting fun. Without a doubt one of the most entertaining and gripping games I have ever played, and is definitely a game that shows off what the PSP can do with the right developer. Recommended to EVERY PSP owner!

Strengths: Great graphics. Creative weapons and story. High on the fun factor. Online play adds more excitement.
Weaknesses: Trying to grasp all the controls takes awhile. Gets to be confusing especially when battling.
Summary: Very worthy game for the PSP. No wonder it is receiving high marks everywhere. Amazing how this handheld system keeps churning out impressive graphics. Have to remind myself this is a portable system. Very creative game and hours go by without even noticing. Haven't quite got to the end yet. Definitely a must buy for your PSP game library.

Strengths: Graphics, gameplay
Weaknesses: None
Summary: Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters is one of the best games that the PSP has to offer so far. It is a great platformer and shooter with great graphics and music. The deep gameplay offers a plethora of crazy upgradeable weapons and gadgets that add a new level of fun factor to the game. In other words, this game offers the same diversity in gameplay as the other R&C games (on the PS2 console) that has made this series great. Overall, this game is very enjoyable and should give you hours of fun. It's so addicting that you don't want to stop.

Strengths: Graphics, gameplay
Weaknesses: N/A
Summary: Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters is one of the best games on the PSP. It has great graphics and music, and excellent game play. There are lots of weapons with purchasable upgrades and power-ups, as well as mini games. I picked this game up with a high expectation since I have good experience with the R&C series on the PS2, and I was not disappointed at all. It got to be one of those games that you want to have with your PSP during a long trip. Pick it up!

Strengths: All the classic R&C strengths
Weaknesses: A bit short
Summary: You would never know that this game was made for a portable and not for a console. It plays exactly like the previous ratchet and clank games, and shows a level of excellence that we've come to expect. There are a plethora of different weapons to choose from, each with purchasable upgrades and which level up based on use. Those of you familiar with the franchise will recognize many of the items and weapons, or at least their functional clones.

The majority of the game has you controlling Ratchet as he jumps, shoots, and whacks enemies with his wrench. As with previous R&C games, you also will play certain missions as clank, commanding a hoard of bots to accomplish your goals. There's also hover board racing as well as many challenging mini games in the collaseum, all of which will earn you bolts and equipment.

The only downside to this game is that it's a bit shorter than I would have preferred. The difficulty isn't very high and it's possible to breeze through the game in a relatively short period of time. Of course, there is a good amount of replayability if you want to gather all the weapons and level them up. After you beat the game, you can replay it at a higher difficulty, keeping all of your weapons and gaining the oppertunity to acquire super upgrades of them as well as previously unavaliable ones.

Strengths: graphics, guns, Clank
Weaknesses: none, maybe price
Summary: One of the best games on the PSP overall. Great platformer/shooter, deep gameplay and excellent music and graphics. Of course, as expected, there are lots of variety/craziness in the gun department. Guns that shoot bees, lasers and shells add to the fun. They are also upgradeable which gives the guns a different twist. You’ll eventually find one that’s your favorite. This is a real enjoyable title every PSP owner should own or at least play through once.

Weaknesses: The controls might take some getting used to....
Summary: I like this game very much. Took me over 3 weeks to finished so its a very good game. It might take a real gamer to finish this much sooner though...

Strengths: A meaty, console adventure in the palm of your hand. The great story, great gameplay, and fun weapons that inhabit the standard Ratchet and Clank game.
Weaknesses: Multiplayer is a dud. Load times don’t help the game. Camera control can be weird at times.
Summary: Their vacation may not have gone too well for Ratchet or Clank, but it’s worth it for the player as the heroic duo is back in force and they’re looking as good as ever. The adventure does everything it can to bring the experience fans expect to the PSP in a big way. The entertaining story, great, varied, gameplay, and the impressive package that surrounds the single-player makes the negatives, like long load times, boring multiplayer, and the sometimes awkward camera controls, a necessary evil to have a great game like Size Matters.

Strengths: Original R&C game for PSP, decent controls, amazing graphics for the PSP
Weaknesses: Slight camera problems due to PSP limitations (no second analog stick)
Summary: Like Daxter before it, Ratchet & Clank Size Matters is a new game developed for the PSP in a well-established Playstation 2 franchise. And like Daxter, this game makes an excellent debut on the PSP. The game looks great (possibly even better than the PS2 games) and plays nearly as well as them too. It is somewhat lacking in control/camera due simply to the limitations of the PSP (no second analog stick).

But once you get used to the controls and camera, the game is excellent and features both a great single-player campaign and a robust multiplayer experience (both local and online). If you've enjoyed any of the Ratchet & Clank PS2 games this is a must buy for your PSP. Even if you haven't played the originals, this is still a great pick up and one of the best PSP games yet.

Strengths: The graphics and sound are top notch. Great effects and ultra smooth gameplay to boot.
Weaknesses: Short play time.
Summary: An immensely packed game with characters, creatures, weapons, and gadgets. Ratchet and Clank is a futuristic, and innovative game with a wonderful soundtrack. This game is super fun! I had a hard time putting it down. My nephew and cousins love this game!
