Strengths: Bang for buck, brightness, Picture Quality, low weight for size, 3D capabilities with add on accessories, low power consumption
Weaknesses: Subject to bowing, tilt and geometry issues, 3 D bit of a pain to set up, Not very good as a PC monitor, PIP feature restricted to coax HDTV only, weak speaker sound, viewing angle isn't wide
Summary: I've owned this monster for over a week now, picked it up for less than 2 k online and am very pleased, luckily for me, delivery was smooth and trouble free and I had no geometry issues but I've heard enough from others to know this is a concern, although the 67" model is less prone to it than it's 61" sibling. The image quality is fantastic and settings allow calibration for rich warm hues and dynamic colors that pop depending on how you'd like it, it does have 120 Hz capability and is huge!! Takes very little power and is a great all round buy. However it cannot rival LCD clarity or crispness and the lack of 1:1 pixel mapping means that it suffers as a computer monitor except with some tweaks and from a large distance. Loads of inputs allow it to be a single display for TV, PC and game consoles and it is stellar as a TV and console display. PC resolution of 1920 X 1080 needs tweaking over HDMI which is also the only mode in which 3D can be enjoyed with an additional kit from DDD/Tridef and software that needs some configuring, very cool when it works but a pain to set up and only works for media played back on PC. The built in speakers aren't very powerful but most Home theater enthusiasts would pair this with decent speakers and a receiver so probably not a big deal. The best prices can be found online and it is awesome if delivery is trouble free. LED DLPs leave the old DLPs with rotating wheels in the dust but those expecting LCD level clarity might be disappointed. Please be sure to check it out at a local retailer before taking the p-lunge, but if you like what you see, you'll be glad you did..I know I am!!!

Strengths: Amazing, picture, 3 HDMI inputs, price for size, decent sound
Weaknesses: Non HD channels look very poor. It may be just the contrast but it is now very hard to watch non HD channels now
Summary: Was watching 2001: A Space Odyssey on an HD channel, a friend came in and asked when did we get a blueray player? Answer - we don't but the picture looked that good. I have to disagree with the comments about a narrow viewing area. We're set up with a couch 11.5 feet in front and a loveseat on each of the opposite walls facing each other. They are about 12.5 feet and 8 feet diagnal from TV and all of friends thought the picture was great.
I wanted to buy online but hubby won on this point becasue he wants to be able to walk into a store with complaints. Ah well. Got it for $2060 pretax with sale prices, store credit card use, and loyalty coupons combined.
Non HD channels do look pretty bad tho, SciF station is painfully to watch, Can't remember what station has Burn Notice but that held up a bit better. DVDs look really sharp, crisp, hmm vibrant! Watched Serenity, Enchanted, and Fifth Element so far... WOW.
Added in surround sound and subwoofer. We may never set foot in a movie theater again...
No glare issues, hubby did spend about 2 hrs spread out over 3 days tweaking the controls and flesh tones and other variables. He also spent alot of time with online forums compare notes :-}
End result: No Buyers remorse here. Absolutely worth the money and setup time to enjoy this. If 67" is too big then check out the 61" inch. Be Prepared to spend time tweaking settings - makes a huge difference!

Strengths: LED, 3 HDMI inputs, 2 component inputs, attractively framed, brilliant picture quality, price
Weaknesses: dedicated (non-universal) remote, restrictive picture-in-picture implementation
Summary: Purchased this from Vann's for $2,000 shipped. This TV has by far the richest feature set for under $2,000 that we could find in our research. The implementation of LED also means that we don't have to turn our brightness down to extend the life of a lamp. The picture "pops" and is vibrant. We have 2 HDTVs and the non-HD channels actually look better on this TV than our 50" HDTV.

Strengths: Amazing picture in HDTV and blu-ray.
Weaknesses: Sound is a little weak.
Summary: I looked far and wide for a large screen 1080P unit and chose this Samsung over much more expensive 58" plasma. I purchased for less than $1750 and am very happy. Picture quality rivals plasma in hi-def and is better than my 37" LCD.

Strengths: Unbelievable color and picture quality in HD. Instant on without a "warm-up" period like older DLP models. Picture sharper and brighter than DLP sets without a LED engine.
Weaknesses: As with most projects, it is best viewed straight on rather than from an angle and more than 12' - 15' from the set.
Summary: The picture rendered in HD by this set is amazing - there is no loss in quality or sharpness in the image because of the size of the picture. There are shades of colors I've never seen before on any color television at any price. The picture is 40% brighter than the 56" DLP Samsung I owned prior to this set. I'm definitely pleased with the LED technology used by Samsung in this TV.

Strengths: 67 inch screen is amazing. Price is very reasonable, specially online. Got it for 1850. Color is amazing, REMOTE IS SWEET. Lights up huge font size. Slim tv. much cheaper than plasma and lcd.
Weaknesses: Kinda big still but better than paying alot of money for plasma or lcd. Youll need 2 people to lift this.
Summary: LED's in this tv help extend the life of the set. The color ring can be turned off if not to your liking. Input connectors are on the left now making them easier to reach without having to go behind your tv. 3 hdmi. Colors look accurate and blacks are very black. I like the little stand makes it fit on a tiny stand bettter.

Strengths: Size of picture, led life, contrast, price, quality of picture.
Weaknesses: depth versus flat panel
Summary: This TV is the best bang for the buck. The color and contrast is incredible. Has plenty of inputs. I no longer have to set up my projector for a huge picture. Easy to upgrade the firmware. Jpeg viewing feature is great. Overall a great picture. Like the use of LEDs versus lamps that burn out and are expensive. Love this TV.

Strengths: Size, price, picture quality
Weaknesses: Narrow view angle, built-in speakers
Summary: I purchased this TV from a web store for just under $2000 including shipping and very pleased by it so far. This DLP TV is almost instantly on and off compare to my another Panasonic LCD rear projector TV. This DLP TV has very good black level and sharp image. The most feature I love is its LED back light due to I have a "green" family. However, the view angle is very narrow compare to regular LCD TVs and like most TVs, it has a pair "not-so-impressive" speakers. Otherwise, it is not a bad idea to get a such large size for this price. It is the top of line in Samsung's 7 series but lack of 120Hz screen flash rate. It looks great with my Sony 1080P upscale DVD player.

Strengths: Great Price for Size, Excellent Picture, Great for Gaming on any platform, Beautiful Design.
Weaknesses: Screen Waves when walking by it.
Summary: I have had this TV for 7 months and could not be happier with my purchase. I have a PS3 and a PS2 attached to it and have noticed a dramatic difference between 1080p and S-Video, but I attribute this to the quality of the cable and the comparison of the video qualities as opposed to the TV itself. My living room is 20 feet long by 9 feet wide and I have it going short ways with 3 couches along the 20 foot wall. There is absolutely zero picture quality reduction at ANY angle. The best part about the TV is the fact that if the screen goes or the bulb burns out, I can replace them instead of purchasing an all new TV.

Strengths: Excellent picture with brilliant color.
Weaknesses: None worth speaking of.
Summary: Purchased from best buy 11 months ago. I only hesitated buying because I thought the bulb would blow out in a few months. My TV runs at least 5 hours a day Mon-Fri and about 15 hours a day on Sat & Sun, thats a long time. If you want a big TV and one that is equal to Plasma or whatever, this is the one.
For my sound, Bose.

Strengths: Picture, Color, Depth, Bright, LED and PRICE
Weaknesses: Where's the 77" and 87" models
Summary: Finally, DLP LED that smokes every data point, so don't pass on this one. This is the market design for large and very large DLP screens for sports and 3D. Superb picture and cost point for DLP LED. Every person and sports fan loves this picture and there's no comparison between old technology DLP and the new LED DLP engineering. This is the technology to take this to the Ultra large screen format for sports fans. I don't know why Samsung hasn't brought out the bigger screens

Strengths: Amazing picture for a fantastic price!
Weaknesses: None so far!
Summary: Picked this set up to replace a 9 year old Mits 65" RPTV that was starting to develop convergence issues, and wow, what a difference 9 years makes!! We were blown away by the picture quality on Blu-Ray, upscaled DVDs (The Empire Strikes Back has never looked so amazing!)and gaming on the PS3 and Xbox 360. But what I wasn't expecting was how great regular satellite programming looks. Colors seem to jump off the screen and I notice fine detail on shows like Lost that I've never seen previously. Can't wait to upgrade to Dish HD! For the price and features of this model, you really can't go wrong. It's just a shame Samsung is no longer in the LED DLP business, because this set rivals or surpasses any LCD or Plasma I have seen. Grab one while you can!!!

Strengths: Bigger IS better, easy set up (even a non-techie girl can do it)
Weaknesses: Not aware of any
Summary: I was searching for a bigger screen for awhile, and my friend Robin told me about this model (she's a wiz with technology while I'm something of a nimrod). First she got me off the PC and onto a Mac.....so I had to trust her on a tv.
I thought all projection tvs had those expensive bulbs to replace, but she explained that LED engine isn't like that. I bought this without ever seeing one in person based on her opinion, and found a great price at SIXTH AVE ELECTRONICS plus a sale on the white glove delivery (who, BTW, were exactly on time and even hooked it up to cable & made sure it was up and running). Only took about a week to get it -- biggest problem was locating a large stand.
When comparing "price per inch" to an LCD or Plasma, you're getting a bargain. I suffered from TV Envy.....when I was young we only had a black and white 13 inch portable and I guess one of my goals was to have a big-a** tv "someday".
Set up was easy, especially since I have another Samsung tv and all the functions are similar. The ANYNET is cool since I hooked up a Samsung home theatre and it all worked together immediately (on any of the remotes). Very cool.
Now all I need is the Samsung fridge & dishwasher so my kitchen can have the Blue Glow (can I afford the Samsung Staron counter too?).

Strengths: Picture and colors, sound quality.
Weaknesses: Nothing worth to be mentioned
Summary: I bought this HDTV about 4 months ago. The HDTV was meant for a home theater room and
after reading various reviews including that one at lcd-reviews.blogspot.c... I think I made a right decision to buy this Samsung HDTV.
The picture quality on this HDTV is nothing less than amazing. The images and colors in High Definition almost jump off the big 67 inch screen.
I also have a 32" 720p Sony LCD, a 32" 720p Panasonic LCD TV, and a 50" 720p Toshiba Plasma. With a 1080p source, even though its hard to compare
the different TV sizes, I must admit the picture quality surpasses both of my LCD HDTV sets and definitely rivals the plasma TV. You won't see the true
capabilities of this Samsung HL67A750 until you get it set up in your home. When I was looking at this set at the seller, I thought the picture quality was nothing special.
The way most of the lighting is set up in the HDTV stores, does not due DLP justice. This was the only reason I was hesitant on buying this HDTV set.
The sound quality is quite good, but then again I only use this Samsung for regular TV viewing. Everything else (Video Games, BluRay and DVDs…) I have through my Onkyo Surround.
Now for the negatives.. There are also some minor disadvantages but not worth to be mentioned,
Overall, I couldn't be happier with this HDTV . The picture is simply amazing for its size. This HDTV has left me much more satisfied than any TV Set I have ever bought.
Highly recommended!
