This allows for greater multi-tasking ability, though it may or may not necessarily translate to better performance in certain programs due to programming inefficiencies compared to its dual core cousin, the E6600. Despite being a 65nm processor, where the Q6600 shines is its overclocking performance; speeds of 3.20GHz for this processor are commonly attained, especially if the processor has G0 stepping.
