Strengths: Beautifully designed cabinet- Picture quality....
Weaknesses: I have not found any.....
Summary: I waited till prices on LCD's came down a bit.-I Almost purchased 'Plasma' because they are alot more reasonably priced. But once i saw this Sony 52in. LCD I ordered it-You have to see it on a showroom floor in a side by side comparison with other LCD's & Plasma....Once you do that, you too will be sold on the vibrant & realistic picture quality..... And if you add a Sony Blu-Ray DVD player, it just does not get any better.... Well worth the price....

Strengths: Stunning picture quality. Also the LCD screen does not reflect lights like the plasma sets. Esthetically very pleasing.
Weaknesses: As with all plasma and LCD's, standard def could look better, but this will be moot soon.
Summary: Clearly digital and high definition will be standard very soon, and this set delivers. The picture quality from HD signals is breathtaking, the viewing angle is huge, and there is no reflection of windows or room lights from the screen. This set is much more expensive than some other plasma and dlp's but it's performance is head and shoulders above the competition. I had been leaning towards the Panasonic TH-50PX600U which is about half the price but this set looks better and performs better. I got the best price from J&R and their shipping was fast and smooth.

Strengths: FANTASTIC PICTURE, GREAT LOOKING CABINET
Weaknesses: HIGH PRICE, LIMITED AVAILABILITY, KDL-52XBR2 SAME TV BUT CHEAPER WITH SILVER SURROND
Summary: I HAD TO WAIT FOR 2 MONTHS FOR MY NEW SONY FLAT SCREEN LCD KDL-52XBR3 TO ARRIVE. THE WAIT WAS WORTH IT! SONY'S XBR TECHNOLGY PLUS BRAVIA ENGINE PRO VIDEO PROCESSING ENSURES FANTASTIC PICTURE QUALITY. IT FEATURES FULL HD 1080p RESOLUTION, THREE HDMI 1080p VIDEO INPUTS AND A 178-DEGREE VIEWING ANGLE. ALL THE REVIEWS ARE OUTSTANDING, AND I AM NOT DISAPPOINTED.

Strengths: Pristine Picture, Super Sound, Easy Set-up, Terrific Remote Control, Overall Flawless Performance
Weaknesses: Cost Premium for BR3 versus BR2 Model
Summary: Our family is delighted with Sony's Bravia KDL-52XBR3!! Both the TV and remote control were a breeze to set up. The TV picture is outstanding, even when using a $39 UHF/VHF antenna to pull in local HDTV channels. The remote control is a bit large, but includes really useful buttons for changing picture modes, flipping between our satellite/cable and in-home antenna, and controlling other AV devices. The one irritation we have with Sony is their decision to charge almost $500 more for the BR3 model than the technically identical BR2 model. The silver-framed BR2 model clashed with our brass fireplace and fixtures, so we reluctantly paid more for the BR3.

Strengths: super clear in HDTV,DVD,Blu-ray,and PS3 mode. response time is excellent compared to what's available today. and the much talked about "mura" effect is non-existent, at least on my tv.
Weaknesses: black levels are what we expect of an lcd, not that deep. although i didn't find it bothering
Summary: the 52-xbr3 is a helluva tv. i'm so impressed by the color rendition and the vibrancy of colors it can project. the cabinit is so classy and blends well in the living room. i must say that the "mura" effect people are talking about are just an overreaction and oversensitivity to the word "perfect". i mean, if you pay your hard earned money for this expensive set, there would be a possibility that you would associate it with perfection and flawlessness. i'm not saying that the "mura" is a flaw as i've had lcd notebooks from past and present that displays some sort of what they described but doesn't bother me at all. sony though have acknownledge the comments and maybe, i'm one of the recepient of the improved set or i'm just not so sensitive to that fact. overall, i would recommend this set especially if you watch in HDTV most of the time.

Strengths: Large onscreen display, visibility of screen can be seen as far as 54', sound quality is great without extra speakers, picture mode selection offers more color choices, zoom ability, easy to navigate.
Weaknesses: TV does not have swivel base for this model.
Summary: You must subscribe to a high definition service provider to gain the full benefits of what this TV has to offer. Although, cable and satellite companies only offer a limited amount of channels to select from this technology can only get better with time.

Strengths: Awesome Picture, Excellent Sound Quality, Easy Setup. Good Looking Design and more…
Weaknesses: Bit Pricy compare to other 52’” HDTV, Black Bezel cost more than the Silver
Summary: After 3 month of research, the wait is over and worth it!. This TV, in my opinion, is the best in the market within the price range. This TV makes my Family room more beautiful and spacious ( I hang it on the wall).
There are few point that I like to make about this TV.
1. The Picture Quality when viewing in HD broadcast is breathtaking
2. The regular DVD player (NOT Blu-ray) is showing much better picture on this TV. It likes upscaling quality.
3. The sound quality with TRU surround XT option on is excellent
4. The setup menu / configuration is very easy to use.
5. The remote is very functional and very well integrated if you have other sony devices.
6. The angle viewing from the site is almost as good as viewing from the center.
7. It have 9 input devices
If you can afford extra money, you go buy this TV. You will NOT be disappointed.

Strengths: Style, Picture, and setup
Weaknesses: Price
Summary: The Picture is awsome and the set up was a breeze. The unit is light and looks great on my wall. The price is the only negative that I have found so farbut you can get a perry good deal if you shop around. There are enough inputs to handle every thing that I needed to connect.

Strengths: Beautiful unit. Excellent picture quality- the best I've seen for a large LCD.
Weaknesses: Pricier than other comparable brands.
Summary: I have been shopping for a big screen LCD for a few months now and have compared this TV with other brands at different electronics stores. If price is not much of an issue get this TV- you will not be disappointed. The picture quality is the best that I've seen for a large LCD. The unit is beautiful and we love the piano black finish, though we wish that we did not have to pay an extra $300 for this compared to the silver XBR2. I was concerned about the "clouding" that I've read from other reviews but I have not had a problem with this so far.

Strengths: Great HD Picture.
Weaknesses: NONE
Summary: After extensive reading, research on-line and offline and checking them out of several stores, comparing it with different brand, I decided to open up my wallet on this set. I started my search back late last year. By far the picture quality in HD and SD, and the sound of its built-in speakers was absolutely great. If you can afford it-GET IT You will not be disappointed by this set.
