Strengths: This model is powerful and does the job of power-washing your teeth and gums quite well. The design is stylish, has a relatively small footprint, a lid that houses the attachments and which also keeps the water reservoir covered.
Weaknesses: Using a Waterpik is a bit quirky, splashy and squirty.
Summary: Regarding the reviews about water leaks, that is probably water running down the outside of the handle and tube during use that continues after it is put back on the shelf. At least that's what happens with my machine. Regarding the comments about the unit not putting out water after a few uses, that is also probably from water running down the handle and causing the button to stick in the off position. Again, that's what happened to me. Remember that water isn't clean, it will gum up the button. Solution, don't use the button. Put the wand in your mouth first and then turn on the machine. Use all the water in the tank and only take the wand out of your mouth after the water pressure drops to zero.

Watch out for the pause button
Strengths: Adjustment pressure
Weaknesses: Pause button.
Summary: The pause button stuck on pause after fourth use. Have to turn off the unit to get water again. Without the pause, you get a real mess a lots of wasted water/listerine solution.

Waterpick
Strengths: quite, small
Weaknesses: messy
Summary: I own water pick for 2 days now. I set dial on 5 and my gums start to bleed, so i had to turn dial to the lowest setting. I am not 100 % happy with that because I still experience bad breath.

Strengths: Plenty of power, Small footprint, Fairly quiet, Not expensive
Weaknesses: The pause button , Tank could be larger
Summary: No previous experience with water piks, but this one seems to do the job very well. It has more than enough pressure. Comes with a lot of attachments, though it would be nice if the top had a "place" for all of them. I do think the "Pause" button should have been an "ON" when pressed and "OFF" when released type button. The tank could be about double the size. I like to take my time and make sure I get a good cleaning, and I usually have to fill my tank twice to finish. Despite those few problems I think overall it's a good product, and it only cost about $60. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to improve dental hygiene.

Strengths: It works; Compact; Inexpensive; Design is stylish
Weaknesses: Reservoir not big enough. The tube needs to be longer.
Summary: Even though I floss daily, the Waterpik removes particles of food that flossing can't reach. It's very good at cleaning, and has lots of nice accessories that can be conveniently stored in the cover. Using one has made all the difference in the health of my teeth and gums.

Strengths: small and quiet design, works alright. It has more than enough power and has the attachments.
Weaknesses: no pressure adjustment
Summary: I am not good at flossing and it is hard to reach my inner teeth. This product made life easier and also saved my gums from the bleeding and pain I usually experience with flossing. highly recommend it to anyone interested in replacing flossing.

Strengths: various tips and variable power for the water jet
Weaknesses: although sufficient, I wish the water tube was about 30cm longer, other than this I am very happy.
Summary: This is my second waterpik unit...the first I have given to my sister. It seems to be well made and I am pretty sure it will last 10 years or more. Recommended to me by a dentist several years ago and I have not had any major dental work/decay since I've been using these units.

Strengths: Compact, effective, easy to use
Weaknesses: Messy
Summary: This is a nice, compact unit. It's straightforward: fill the tank with water; turn unit on; and pulse away at your teeth and gums. I haven't figured out all the attachments; some of which are pretty similar. Also, the unit has a dial to adjust pressure, but it's strong even at the lowest setting, and making a mess of splashing water is inevitable. I have not had any leaks, as others have reported. The spray does help in cleaning hard to reach crevices and my mouth seems cleaner after us. Overall, a good, economical device to aid in dental hygiene.

Water Jet is not a replacement for floss.
Strengths: 1) Did what product promised.
2) No leaking
3) small footprint on bathroom table
4) powerful over level 6.
Weaknesses: water splashing
Summary: It works great, but it's definitely not replacement of flossing or toothbrushing. I use it after everymeal, after flossing, and before brushing.
it get a few days to get used to the waterpik water pluse.

Strengths: 1. powerful and a brand name.
2. Water tank if large enough for a clean
3. multiple irrigate level ( I pick 6)
Weaknesses: 1. too loud
2. The button on the handle could be better
Summary: Overall it's a decent water jet if you don't like floss and lazy like me.
Some brand will cost you more than $100. This one is cheap.
If they can improve the button on the handler, it will be better, the first time I thought the button will turn-on the water, I was wrong.

Strengths: Great compact design.
Weaknesses: Unit has tendency to leak somewhat.
Summary: I like the compact design that holds everything in place. It does a great job and makes the everyday hygiene rituals a little easier. After using this product, my teeth feel very clean by using the "Ultra Dental Water Jet" than just brushing alone. I'd hate to go without!

Strengths: compact, light and much quiet than old model
Weaknesses: still noisy
Summary: I've used old model for years, but it broken, so I try this one. When I received it, I found it much compact, light and much quiet than old model.
After few days used, it really does its job in cleaning your mouth, stimulate the gums, and removes debris that brushing and rinsing miss, but the water container empties fairly quickly, anyway, recommend for anyone

Strengths: cleans as well if not better than floss, plenty of power
Weaknesses: messy, hard to angle head and keep thumb near 'pause' button at same time
Summary: After my dentist told me in successive visits that I need to improve my flossing, I decided to give Waterpik a try to see if it can help reduce my gingivitis symptoms. After 2 weeks of use, I am happy to report that it has worked very well in this aspect. Now this device is not as great as to provide that 'dentist-clean' feeling that some reviews have suggested, but in my case it has definitely performed as well, if not better than my flossing. In the two weeks I have used it I have followed the machine up with dental floss and have yet to uncover additional food chunks that the Waterpik did not flush out.

Strengths: Nice Design. Works great as expected and very high pressure.
Weaknesses: Water come out too much and messy.
Summary: This is my first time using WaterPik. I really impressed opertaion of this model. The water pressure is very strong. I only use the lowest number. But the water come out too much as I'm not experience user. I wish it has water level adjustment. Overall I'm gald I have bough this product and would recommend to friends.
