Another Negative feedback. Placed an order for an EEEpc with delivery quoted at 2-7 days. Chased after 14 days to be told it would be by the end of the week. Then agian at 21 days it would be another week. Sourced another if i made a quick purchase and cancelled order within 30 days of order (note they take ALL the funds first) they would ge tme my eeePC the by the end of the week... surprise? Nothing at all. I gave up by the 18th of March yes 8 weeks later and they are still quoting 2-5 days delivery, i called as new customer, sneaky i know but gives me ZERO faith. Will never recommend this lot in my life. TERRIBLE customer service and a different excuse each time. Overall Rating

Stay Away!! I have waited in since the 16th December 2007 waiting for an order but to no avail. Three unsuccessful delivery attempts later now waiting for a refund. The customer services are a complete waste of time, lengthy delays.Once you get to the front of the cue you are cut off!! Complete waste of time and effort! Overall Rating

1/5. Non-existant after-sales service. Not enough room to write a proper review so here's the summary: - Excessive pre-sales calls. - Item had 2 hardware issues and one missing accessory. - After-sales emails go unreplied, promised callbacks/emails from phone agents do not arrive. Laptops Direct seems to be to be very apathetic to issues you have with the product after you've purchased it, and seem disorganized on top of that. All the signs so far are of a classic cowboy mail-order racket - get their money and disappear. The Returns department has provided a pleasant no-nonsense experience so far, but I'll reserve final judgement until my credit card has a £600 credit on it from them. I wish I'd read these reviews and spent a few more quid with a more reputable dealer. Overall Rating

After I read the other reviews I was dubious, but took the risk because the price was so good. Im gald I did, because the whole service was faultless. I paid an extra 10 GBP delievery cost to recieve my laptop the next day and sure enough it was with me in less than 24 hours. Would certainly use this site again. Thanks very much laptops direct. Contrary to other reviews (whether being fortunate or not) I didnt have any major problems other than the verification of my card, which boiled down to my credit card company not having my correct details. Anyway, a quick phone call the next day sorted it out, the customer service girl being helpful and the product was received the next day. They provided me with details of dispatch and gave me a tracking number and link to the delivery company (city link) so I could check that it had left the dispatch depot all in all I was quite happy with the service and they saved me over a £100 from buying from a leading electrical store.. Appalling customer services, I spent weeks trying to send a laptop back to them and they would not accept it because the box was slightly damaged. I would call them up and they would do the usual call-centre crap passing me around to different departments and promising 'call-backs' that didn't happen. Very unhelpful and I ended up with a £750 laptop which I cant use for the tasks I wanted, even though I was withing my rights to return it within 5 days. Overall Rating

BUYER BEWARE.I wish I had read other reviews before ordering. GCSE Telepathy is an advantage to deal with this company. They did not give details of dispatch, would not give tracking number, delivery company do not notify attempted delivery - and after all this - you get charged either for another delivery or cancelling the order. I am now out of pocket for a laptop which never materialised, and have complained to Trading Standards and OFT. Customer services particularly unhelpful. Would not recommend the stress levels in dealing with this company to my worst enemy. Overall Rating

placed order wednesday 13:00 hrs for two monitors. paid £14.95 for next day delivery (thursday). Goods did not arrive. Phoned and was assured they would be there next day(Friday); did not arrive. I asked for saturday delivery at their expense and was told no. but because i asked the goods can no longer be delivered (work that out if you can) have now asked for refund. since having problems with them i find other people in the company i work for have had similar experiences. Their prices are good but I do not believe they have the stock and therefore run the customer round with rubbish like this. **** Steer clear of this company ***** Overall Rating

I wasn't too sure which laptop to purchase but i had been looking at the sony's. after checking a few sites out i found laptopsdirect.co.uk which was very easy to use, but i called there sales line to help me with my decision. they were very helpful and i ended up with the laptop i wanted and all the accessories i needed. they were very cheap, helpful and reliable on delivery too! well done laptops direct! Placed an order in good faith on December 23rd 2006, for a Thinkpad X60S laptop and agreed to purchase an additional memory upgrade which would delay shipping by 24hrs. Paid for next day delivery charges and was guaranteed delivery on Friday 29th december 2006. Received an e-mail on December 29th from Laptops Direct assuring me that the goods had been shipped for delivery on January 2nd. Received another e-mail on January 2nd advising me that the goods had been despatched for delivery on January 3rd? My credit card was debited on December 27th! Unable to get any answer from Laptops Direct via telephone and just keep getting robot type e-mail responses to my e-mails. Unable to track my order on-line and have no idea where the goods are as at 1900 hrs on January 2nd. Would never purchase from this supplier again and fail to see how they received a positive supplier review in the annual PC-PRO awards. Time to escalate matters to my credit card supplier! Brilliant Service. I found the laptop that i wanted and checked the price on PriceGrabber and found Laptops Direct to be the cheapest. I placed an urgent order (exact stock levels aren't shown on web-site so phone to check they have items in stock). The order had an item missing. Even though the item was specified on the invoice I had to make 4 phone calls before I was allowed to ship the product back (at my own cost). In spite of paying a credit card fee and for next day delivery I may have to wait 2 weeks for my return to be processed! Overall Rating

These sites shown them as the cheapest and they are not. Buy as an individual and not a company and be protected by the long distance sales protection act. Overall Rating

I order q Sony FE21H and 296VP in addition to a few desktops. I requested a next day delivery and the units did not show, despite assurance everything was in stock when I placed my order, suddenly several items were missing. I changed my order to items that were in stock however upon delivery BOTH the laptops were the wrong model and one of them had already been opened. Customer service were not helpful at all and when I canceled my order with them and return the unit I was charged £98.00 / laptop to "return it to the original settings"....we never turned the laptops on!!!! We did manage to get a refund on this however...still, this is one company to avoid. Overall Rating

I have ordered fujitsu siemens amilo a1667 on 5th of may. I've chosen 'next working day' delivery which was almost £15. After 6 days of waiting i called customer service only to find out that laptop is unavailable and i can order something else. Simply terrible service. Overall Rating
