Strengths: great power add on for your laptop

Summary: works perfectly on Dell Inspiron 1520. I have Vista Ultimate installed and this memory is "enough" for this OS. Also keep in mind if you have 32-bit OS you will see maximum of 3.5GB RAM so dont be surprised
Vista performance check gives it 4.8 thats why it got only 4 stars

Strengths: Good price (even better with rebate), Performance boost, easy install.
Weaknesses: None. My 32-bit OS (Vista) only recognizes about 3GB of it, but that's no fault of the memory.
Summary: Highly recommend this upgrade, especially if memory prices are on a downswing. My Compaq Presario F730US recognized all 4GB, 4096MB as reported in the BIOS, even though it officially only supports 2GB. There was a noticeable improvement in Windows Vista going from 1GB.

Strengths: Fast, 2GB x 2, lifetime warranty
Weaknesses: none
Summary: This is one of the best 4GB laptop memory kits on the market now. It is PC2 5400, so check with your laptop to make sure it takes them. OCZ is nice enough to provide lifetime warranty, so no worry at all even if it breaks in five years.
Another thing is currently 32-bit Windows (XP or Vista) only recognize 3-3.5GB of memory. Which means if you don't want to lose a bit, go for 64-bit system.

Summary: great price memory! i ordered from frys and with the rebate it is $60. price was almost double 6 months ago. I put this into a laptop with 1 gig and saw the immediate speed boost with vista. works great!!

Strengths: Very good price for relatively good quality
Weaknesses: Not so much known brand
Summary: Bout this pair (one for each of my two laptops)at the price of $59 after rebate from Frys. So far I don't have any problems! Little confusion due to PC2-5400 as opposed to PC2-5300. They are basically the same!

Strengths: price, large capacity
Weaknesses: none for the price
Summary: Most laptops have only two slots for memory sticks. Therefore, you could not add more memory modules if the two slots have been preoccupied by two 512MB cards, unless you replace them. With today's applications and operating systems like Windows Vista, one needs at least 2GB of memory to take advantage of the fast CPU, otherwise, the memory becomes the bottleneck. Note that most laptops have operating systems installed that can only recognize a maximum of 3GB of RAM. So you have 1GB got wasted with this kit. Although the 3GB size limit might be solved in the future, one would still be better off by buying two 2GB sticks in the kit like this OCZ one than buy one 2GB and one 1GB sticks separately. Besides, you might get 5% increase in performance by having the two matching memory modules.

Strengths: Faster than other standard pc5300 memory modules, OCZ lifetime warranty.
Weaknesses: None to speak of
Summary: OCZ is known for their high quality modules as well as thir lifetime warranty on their memory products. Ever since installing this memory my laptop is totally faster and makes it feel like a brand new laptop. This memory is also recognized in 64bit operating systems (windows and linux/unix). I have recommended this product as well to my father in law as well. He watches a lot of streaming video on the internet. You can't go wrong with OCZ! Go for it with confidence!!!

Weaknesses: No complaints.
Summary: 2008-01-04 15:42:05 Some things just don't need explanation or reviewing, and when you end up paying less than fifty clams for 4GB of laptop memory (after rebate), it is very hard to be critical. OCZ have been very prominent in selling RAM in 2007 and their rebates are some of the most competitive and fastest to get back. Their customer support is also VERY VERY good at addressing issues as well as having great user forums. I hope OCZ flourish in 2008 :)

Summary: Worked right off the bat. I noticed a major improvement in my Sony Vaio laptop performance after I installed this memory set of 4GB. I went from 1G to 4G although Windows Vista 32 bit only recognizes 3 GB of memory.

Summary: Installed these today on my XPS laptop and the speed increase is noticable. The ram was recognized by the operating system immediately with no issues. For $60 after rebate at Frys, the price can't be beat. I would definately recommend these.

Summary: Just got this a couple days ago. Installed in Toshiba Core 2 DUO and it screams! Vista's no match for this. Worked right away. Price was good. Great product from OCZ. Lifetime warranty.

Summary: I like it very much. It really improve the performance of the laptop. I used that to replace two 1GB memories in my Lenovo laptop. Vista is really resource comsuming, but with this memory, it performs much better.
