Easy navigation. Accurate. Weaknesses: NA Summary: I have used the TurboTax program since the 1980's and this, the latest version, is clearly the best. Directions are plain and easily followed, and they haven't overlooked any of the small but very important details. The program offers a federal review that is very helpful along with tips for deductions. Weaknesses: If there are weaknesses I have not found them. Summary: 2008-01-31 15:26:29 I am extremely pleased with TurboTax Premier. It has been a good investment providing helpful tools for us in preparing our tax returns. Strengths: The interview method of entering items is pretty good, but it keeps forcing you to start at the beginning of a section if you need to make additions. Weaknesses: Intuits e-file servers overloaded again this year. I spent two days trying to file, and couldn't get through. Totally irresponsible. This is after the software took my credit card number ... Summary: TurboTax now tries to get you to upgrade or spend more money constantly. What used to be a good program is now annoying. There are also excessive charges for help or support. For Intuit to lobby congress and keep the IRS from giving us FREE e-file so they can charge us $17. per fed and state return - yeah, they raised the price again - is rediculous, particularly if they can't get it right.
