the only reason i bought this item was because someone asked me to, they live abroad and wanted uk delivery b4 xmas.
I have issues with ebuyer on the grounds it gives PRICES B4 VAT IN CAPITALS and search engines pick up the low price, then when you find the real price you are disappointed, can be very annoying.ALSO FREE SHIPPING = £3.99 frankly I am not amused I would rather shop at amazon. Can't fault the supply chain side of ebuyer but my god does your customer service suck. Only buying here today because my other supplier is out of stock. Superfast delivery. Came actually 3 days earlier! Great Monitor,no dead pixel. I thought there was a defect, and called up ebuyer. they without hesitation told me to send back, and they will get it replaced. But after some tests, actually found that it was windows's settings. Cheap, good customer service, and prompt delivery are a great assets! |

I ordered an iDock and it was missing the mains charger I was supposed to get with it. I called before I ordered to confirm it came with the charger - was told yes, 'it shows it in the picture'. Rang to report the missing charger, was told one would be sent out to me. Two weeks and many phone calls later, I'm told one hasn't been sent out to me yet because they're waiting for a customer to send one back which will then be sent to me... Asked to be sent new replacement and was given a date for courier to collect old item. Took day off work - courier didn't come. Called to re-arrange another pick-up, had to take another day off work. Replacement item arrived and again had no charger. Called eBuyer again - after long conversation, ended up being told the iDock doesn't come with a charger. I said the item's detail pictures showed a charger but was told the pictures were 'for illustrative purposes only' and didn't actually reflect the item. Have to take another day off for it to be returned |

Tried to place an order but eBuyer wanted a security check! Copy of my passport WITH "full address as on passport" - where?? Utility bill more than two months old - what about twenty years old? OK they said!! This exercise is more concerned with obtaining personal information than stopping fraud. They seem to have an interest in the 'Big Brother is Watching Club'. Sorry, not for me. I have always found eBuyer not always the cheapest out there but their returns service has always been next to none, I have been unfortunate with a few items I have ordered in the past and eBuyer have been spot on with replacing/refunding the items. very good service! |

now i am all for fraud protection but it becomes an issue when in the process of protecting our (customers) details unreasonable measures or steps are implemented, with ebuyer I was asked to supply my bank statement to prove that the order is coming from me, sorry for patronising but I think the fact that the order's delivery and billing address being the same is a clear indication that it's the card holder making the request. Rather it is the loose exchange of these documents that leads to fraud in the first place and exchanging this information back and fought will only increase the likelihood of someone somewhere gaining a lot of information us. To sum up ebuyer refused to send the goods till I sent them my documents and I excised my right to protect my personal information so no transaction was made and my order cancelled. Order from others (dabs,dell e.tc) they are more reasonable and aware. if the billing address and delivery match up guys it's not FRAUD. |

I totally agree with the previous review - DONT BUY FROM EBUYER. The laptop was advertised as 57 in stock, I ordered and they charged my credit card IMMEDIATELY. 7 days later - still no laptop, when I complained - they said 'discontinued - do you want your money back ?' If it was discontinued/out of stock why didn't they say that day or next day ? Obviously if they hold enough of peoples money, without delivering goods, the interest they earn is better than working. Completely Not acceptable. NEVER DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY - YOU ARE WARNED |

DON'T USE EBUYER TO SHOP FROM. In short, if you want your items to arrive on the day you pay for them to arrive DON'T USE EBUYER TO SHOP FROM. I have paid a very heavy premium for my order to arrive on Saturday and it simply didn't turn up. Having spent time planning ahead for the arrival of the kit and then making preparations on the day to ensure that the kit could be installed, what I don't expect to happen is that Ebuyer, despite taking my money, don't delivery on their contract. I must admit this is my own fault. I have lost out when dealing with Ebuyer in the past, yet each time I forget how bad the average experience is and the price tempts me back. It's the old addage - you get what you pay for. Well it doesn't matter what the company is charging you for the products; if they can't get you what you want, when you want it, they might as well fold. If you can't afford to be let down or have items not turn up, then don't bother ordering from Ebuyer! DON'T USE EBUYER! |

I ordered for a Creative Labs Gigaworks S750 . The order was processed on the 30th of Jan. , they set a dispatch date on the 2nd of Feb . Time passed by and was wondering why my item didnt arrive on the 3rd , so I checked my item status online and was not amused when they changed the dispatch date to 6th of Feb. without explaining of what happened. Contacted the Customer service which was almost non existent and they strogly denied that they have changed it . Of course I woudnt be calling them if thats not the case. Worst part is I went to their own forum to contact the company as somebody in there was actively responding the customers posting , however my question and complaints were deleted right away . No wonder most of the postings are all nice praises and not so bad comments. Thats what you call Surgically enhanced Ebuyer's face .. isnt it? |

I've had the same experience as Senecan (a few posts below mine) has had. My order was cancelled without reason just after I received an email requesting that I fax/email them a copy of my passport! It's so sketchy!! I've emailed their customer service team and left an "enote", but still no response. I'm worried now because they have all my credit card info and although my order is supposedly "cancelled" I'm scared they'll withdraw the money anyway. |

a) It is NOT obvious how to get to ones 'catalogue'. After a lot of messing round I finally figured out it is attached to the bottom of ones 'account'. b) I was distressed by the fact that the security padlock does not appear in the IE window during the time when one is expected to enter ones credit card information. It flashed briefly after theinformation was entered, which I assume means that the information was transmitted securely? I will hesitate to use the site again because of this. The |

Placed an order with a valid credit card with plenty of credit only to have the order mysteriously cancelled and access to the website once logged-in restricted. Had ordered before successfully with same credit card and personal details. Contacted customer services who were completely uninformed. Then had an ID request via email asking for a scan of my passport - which is NOT SECURE. 20 mins later the order was cancelled again. That is utterly inadequate cust service and inappropriate to ask me to contribute to potential identity fraud. NEVER send a scan of your passport via EMAIL. |
