This store operate a scam. They take you money and do not deliver the goods. Its been 6 weeks since my order was cancelled when they had not delived and no refund was made despite many calls. You have been warned. |

pretty easy to complete. No indication of safety of on-line sales through !No idea when item will be delivered. I was give a delivery date & arranged to be home. I was informed later in the day that the goods would not be delivered till the following day. I had to rearrange the delivery date and arrange further time off work. |

My advice is to avoid Digital Empire Online at all costs. I ordered a television from DEO on 2nd April 2009, expecting it to arrive within 5 days. From the website there was no indication that the product was out of stock however when I phoned to check on the delivery date I was told that they were receiving stock on April 9th and would dispatch shortly afterwards. I phoned on a further three separate occasions, each time being told that the item had not arrived from their supplier but would be arriving "at the end of the week", the final time I phoned I was told that they would not receive stock until the middle of May. They debited my credit card on the same day of the order despite not having the goods to ship, which in my opinion is dubious at best and should probably be illegal. After 30 days I sent instructions to my credit card company to recover the money from them. The money was recovered on May 12th, 40 days after the original order was placed. |

It took 2 months to find out the goods were not in stock and that they did not know when they would have the goods they had sold. It took a further 7 weeks to get a refund. During the 4 months the communication from Digital was appalling, inaccurate and i had to chase continually for answers - customer focus was zero. The order was never fulfilled and had to be cancelled with refund |

web site said 3 days delivery they told me they were going to deliver it after 6days. On the friday before they asked if they could deliver it i waited in all day and they never turned up or phoned. werent very helpfull at all will never order from them again. The delivery driver was very nice and helpfull |

Simple website to use - only complaint is that I was not sure if the item was in stock or not (I assumed it was)! In the end the item WAS out of stock - but the website most definitely did not state this. I was then fed a load of tosh every time I rang about delivery regarding when they were getting stock. I finally cancelled the order after 3 weeks and am awaiting a refund. Be VERY careful with this company! |

After 8 weeks and five failed delivery dates and 4 phone calls I eventually canceled my order. However that is not the end of my story. I then had to wait a further 3 weeks and make numerous phone calls in order to get my money back. Avoid DEO like the plague. |

order 27th Feb told washing machine would be delivered in 5 days chased then told it would be a tuesday , chased again told they expect a delviery in April from lg. canceled order by email on web site and phoned. have not have todate had my money returned. this company operates at the lowest level debiting accounts when products not in stock and no clear indication when items will be in stock, nightmere trying to get money back from them. keep well clear of this company. |

sales@digitalempireonline.co.uk is to be avoided, it sucks you in saying that the product is in stock when it isn't and left to you to ring and enquire. The Customer Service is diabolical, talk about off hand, eg asked for the manager to ring me back was told, I can give him your number but can't make him ring you. The words were so true, never got a call. I cancelled the order and the refund had to be chased by my credit card company ..... site to be avoided at all costs |

Better to fill this in once delivery is complete. I have been told the item wil arrive in stock tomorrow - will it? Well, the answer to that is no - now nearly two weeks later and no sign of the TV - hopefully some time soon??? It would be nice to hear from DEO what is hapening! |

As I wrote when the order was completed, my opinion has changed because the goods were not available as advertised. In addition there was no information from the company, despite repeated e-mails and no update on their order status. It was only when I rang that I was told the good were not in stock and would not be for some weeks. I believe Pricegrabber must tell the company to improvew its practices or withdraw thedir approval as show on the company's website. |
