Went on to the companys "live chat" to find out the e.t.d of the desk-top I wanted and was quoted 10 days. I Placed an order straight away and was given a delivery of 04 January 2010 -- some 40 days !!!. I Have sent 2 emails asking to cancel and I have written a letter to them also saying to cancel. Additionally the system was quoted INCLUDING VAT & DELIVERY and both were added to my invoice. It wouldn't be so bad if they ever responded to anything but they just want your c.card nr and then they can do what they want. Overall Rating

This company needs to go the dog house. The worst of the worst cusomter service. Call centre is in India, which is usually fine, but this one is extremely bad. If you want to speak to someone, you can rerouted maybe 10-15 to different. Got re-router for 30 mins once. Everytime I call them, I feel sick, same garbage. You will spend load of money on phones calls, they re incompetent. The USA stop the Inidan call, centr, but us the Uk we are stuck with. They are polite people, but I am looking for good service not from robot trained people. THE dell machine are low buitl quality. Engineer came to fix mine 4-5 times, and it was never diagnosed properly. They kept changing the motherboards, changed HDD, changed RAM, and the garbage was still not working properly, Even wrong mptherboard were sent to the engineer, components are refurbished, not exactly new. DELL has been losing market share, they were number 1 at the beginning of the year , now HP is number 1, and guess Acer is number 2 Overall Rating

Terrible experience, worst ever customer service. A definite 'no-no' for future reference. I ordered the Sat Nav 740 Live directly from Dell on 4th July 2009, and was advised that delivery would be made between 5-7 days from the date of purchase. After a week of waiting I checked on their website when the actual date of delivery would be and was surprised to see that they had postponed the delivery without notifying me for the 17th July. A few days before this date, I once again checked the delivery date and rather annoyed to see that the date had been changed to the 27th July. aving not been notified of any of these changes to the date of delivery, I phoned Dell to find out what was going on and what the cause was for the delay. I was advised that the delivery dates were estimated dates and I just had to wait. As I required the product quite urgently and decided to cancel my order but I was advised by Dell that this was not possible and that I could only cancel my order once I had a Overall Rating
