Weaknesses: wish there was more memory and zoom capability. Summary: I gave this as a gift to my 12 year old grandson and he loves it. He takes it everywhere and is always recording. He sometimes runs out of memory at at crucial time but understands he has only 60 minutes. Good storage, no cable to lose and simple to use. The first problem I had was the output format. iMovie would not accept the native output. I had to convert first using QuickTime. My son expressed his dis-satisfaction with the screen viewer. Although my son and I decided to return the device, I still think it could be a good fit for individual looking for an all-in-one solution that can deal with the AVI file output. 60% of People (3/5) found this review helpful. I got it back but the on/off switch was defective. they replaced the entire unit with one which does not save the date or time. It's getting expensive to keep shipping it back.
