klep - (September 05, 2006) I scan almost every piece of mail I receive. Bills, bank statements, tax forms, etc. Up until now, I've been using a separate flatbed scanner and a printer when I need to output something. Recently, the printer and the scanner both started showing signs of age, and I decided to replace them with an all-in-one. I was deciding between going for the cheapest thing I could find (probably a Lexmark or Brother) or going high-end and getting what I really wanted. Based on my recent experiences with several inkjet printers, I decided that an HP or a Canon would give me the best output with the least amount of ink used. Since I scan so many documents, I wanted a document feeder. And since I had a

hogjaws - (May 05, 2006) I've only had the unit for 3 days now, but so far I love it. The user manual is very comprehensive and easy to understand. I've only used the run-of-the-mill features so far, and I'm sure the learning curve will get more lengthly after I try everything. I don't have a HDTV, but the picture quality on a standard TV is excellent. To record from VHS to Disc is just a matter of pushing a button. I thought there would be some loss of of detail when copying from a tape to Disc, but I was pleasantly surprised at the clairity. I guess Panasonic thought that as long as you had to get up to put a disc or tape in the trays, you might as well open them from the unit instead of the remote. It's a

And I am sure Consumer Reports will rate this TV very high this Fall when they print their Fall Electronic buying guide. -Great HD picture quality (5 out of 5) -Good Standard analog Def. Alex (OC) - (02/01/10) Used these disks in LG & BenQ recorders - the recording quality is not the best, especially around the layer change (using Nero tools). Recorded disks are still playable in standalone DVD player, but some times move freezes for a few seconds. The disks are playable with no problems in PC dvd reader. I guess you get what you paid for:)

rabinrl - (14/12/09) I'm happy to have the cable. I'd be happier if it worked with DOS too. I don't know how XP fakes the existence of DOS so I haven't a clue what to do.
